• Guest swap tracking (local storage): When you start a swap as a guest, we store a random tracking token (e.g., keys prefixed omegaexchange:guest:) so you can follow the status of your swap across page loads without creating an account.
• Session data (local/session storage): Temporary information needed to complete a swap's deposit flow, such as the current Order ID, order details, and related transaction state.
• Authentication state: When you are signed in, a token is kept in storage so API requests to user-specific features (orders, display name, referral information) can be authorized. Guests can use the service without any authentication storage.

2.2 Preferences

• Theme preference (local storage): To remember your dark/light mode preference on this device. This is stored solely on your device and is optional.

3. What We Do NOT Use

To be explicit about our privacy stance, we do not currently use:

• Advertising or marketing cookies
• Cross-site or behavioral tracking
• Fingerprinting techniques
• Third-party analytics that profile you across sites

If we ever introduce analytics or advertising technologies, we will update this policy and, where required, seek your consent before doing so.

4. Third-Party Technologies

When you perform a swap, your transaction is executed by an Exchange Service Provider (ESP) partner such as FixedFloat or RocketX. Any storage or cookies set by those providers are governed by their own policies and are outside our control. We do not set their cookies on our Website.

You can control or delete cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings. Options typically include:

• Clearing all cookies and site data for this Website

Impact of clearing storage: You will be signed out, and any guest swap tracking tokens will be removed from your device. If you do not have the swap ID and tracking link, you may no longer be able to view the status of an anonymous swap. Signed-in users can find every order under their account.
